... under renovation, but we still got to see them and could see how wonderful they were, using a little imagination - :) After that we wondered into the Mignanelli Piazza and had our first Pizza of the trip.

Freeways and country roads

... onto small country roads. It was great to see the farms again mainly corn and beans and some dairying.

Staying in Ashland tonight. It appeared to be a small town but it is much bigger than we thought. Had dinner at a Bob Evans family restaurant. Have seen them in other places. We had a lovely slow roasted pot roast. The meal came with a salad served before the entree (read main meal) and included veggies with the meal. Heaven !!

Left Tomah Wisconsin early this morning knowing we had another long day of driving. Goal was to get home around 8:00 PM and we made it right on the dot! It felt good to walk into the house. It did not feel like we had been gone for 40 days! Speedometer says we traveled 10,000 miles! WOW! We sure saw many, many wonderful sights. Makes us so appreciative of this great country ...

Same thing in the third session, though I felt I was starting to get a feel for the bike and the track. I was still bringing too much speed into 13, being ******* the brakes and then not letting the bike turn in. Also not using my body to maximize the turning potential of the bike.
