Not sure it gets much better for Joel. Although not one of his heroes he gets to meet an ex NFL line backer from the Oakland Raiders.     ... some of these students look and how they dress. I still think I look pretty young, but these students look like 15 year old kids. The two things I enjoyed were the baseball field and the Sather Tower, which is the old clock tower. It rings every hour and is kind of odd how they still have these things because every one now uses cell phones to tell time and not clock towers that were hundreds of years ...

    ... days in cities, when it was likely the children would encounter homeless people, they would make sandwiches, buy a bag of apples, and give them out along the way, not to "the homeless", but to "people". In doing so, our hope is to teach them that people less fortunate than us are not to be feared, but to be helped in any little way we can. The kids made and wrapped the sandwiches, put them in a bag, and have placed it by the door. We'll see what happens? : )

    ... up a steeper hill than I'd tackled even in Quebec City to see the view from the Coit Tower, named for Lillie Coit who, as far as I could gather from the story our hostel guide told us, stalked firefighters.
