... part of the house if no-one was there. It felt a bit wrong to be walking through their house unaccompanied so we were feeling uncomfortable about it all. We found a true Amish man in the other side, thin greasy grey hair and beard, as well as poorly spoken. He was kind enough to show us their wares, all laid out across several rooms and all the quilts layered on ones bed. I also found the "Original Quilt shop" which has all locally hand crafted patch work products. While I was in there making a purchase, an Amish family came in with a big plastic bag with their hand made products in it which they put in the shop on consignment! ... table. We had a special table cloth, party plates and cups etc. She gave us some bonus tokens which we'd earned by booking a party online and by booking a party on a Sunday, 120 extra tokens!!! Awesome!!!! Each of the 4 party kids were given another 30 tokens each. Sam was given a special inflatable crown to wear which also had 8 tokens embedded in it. ... and while driving everyone started looking for a bag cause we couldn't get of the road....... Someone found a bag, Cooper began to fill it,, sometimes getting in, sometimes missing, Mitch is holding the bag and dry retching, I had the window down trying to keep fresh air so I didn't follow.... Mitch tried to toss the bag but wasn't quite successful and it was running down the window..... Luckily a turn off to a Walmart appeared and we pulled in. ...

The weather was good heading north...missed most of the rain that was predicted on Monday...but boy did we hit a lot of bugs in Georgia. Our windshield was practically covered! Then, when the rain hit, Richard was hesitant to turn in the wipers...thought we'd have a blinding mess...but it was fine. We stayed in Wytheville, VA last night and got a good start this morning.
