Day 10
... I like about the well-ordered and efficient Swedes and add all my own idiosyncracies and present the world with a fabulous mix of just about of everything. And probably nobody would complain that much at all. I just wish all Swedes would be as generous and accommodating to all those with roots abroad, not just "nice" (read: Western) immigrants. In fact, I'm more convinced than ever that I should launch "Föreningen Osvensk Stämning" ...
Airports and aeroplanes
... all still wearing their headphones (tripwires for toilet bound me!) With ninja skills like that I should be at the Olympics, I'm wasted at Fox's. It seems like everyone on the plane is asleep apart from me. I'm bored and walking around the plane writing this. I think we must be going over Brisbane now, almost there. Just another 2hours 40minutes. Woop! I'm gonna see if I can get another hot snack. I'm not actually hungry I'm just bored and yesterday ...
Day 9
... concept of not having both double glazing and central heating (many, as I do, have triple glazing and very efficient central heating, especially in urban areas) so I understand why some of you may be scratching your heads in puzzlement. But this is the reality for many in the UK, and a lot of older people suffer a great deal each winter due to a lack of insulation, heating and adequate glazing.

Old School and Newest School
... always been revered, usually because they were so rare. So after the invention of the printing press, the event that spawned the production of all these books in the Minster Library, wouldn't people still have thought of books as rare and precious and not to be written in? I know people today who refuse to write in the books that they themselves own.
