The return trip down was a little anti-climactic as we were somewhat prepared for the road conditions, and welcomed the climate change from low 30's back to the warm 80s!
If you get the chance, get up there and visit the summit. It'll be an experience I won't forget and am pretty sure you won't either
... the way up, we started to notice small patches of snow and ice that remained on the ground. The further we drove the heavier the snow was getting and the outside temperature is now 28 degrees Fahrenheit, enough for the water on the highway to freeze and that was a bit worrying.
By the time we were on the outskirts of Quebec the snow is starting to get much heavier and visibility a few hundred metres.
