This morning we woke up later than we planned and finished up packing odds and ends. We said our farewells to Bella and seriously considered puppy-napping her and stealing her off to Canada. With heavy hearts we got into the car around 11 and started our journey up north with multiple considerations of turning around and getting her. The packing is finished, we've done a final weather check, located the passports, and we're as ready as we're going to be! We're looking forward to a hot day in the city tomorrow as we check out the new 9/11 Museum, grab some Tasty-D and maybe make our way to Megan's favorite bakery in Chinatown. Well, this is the end of a great journey. We have completed our 2014 Hawaii Adventure, putting 5,110 miles on the car and spending a mere $457 gallons on gasoline...that's less than 9 cents per mile!
