    ... at Zion Adventure Company to pick up some specialized hiking boots and socks for a planned hike into The Narrows on Sunday morning.

    So, we're looking forward to the trip! Nothing left to do but get ourselves to the airport tomorrow morning. I hope everyone enjoys the blog over the next couple of weeks. We'll be sharing a lot of photos, videos, and stories throughout.

    ... but being the optimists that we are we pressed on. The roads in Greater Madawaska Township had not been touched (wonder where my tax dollars go), however once reaching the county line to Lanark they had the roads cleared and salted so we felt better, especially in the hills between home and Perth.     ... down the steep valley side toward Cayuga Lake. The upper park has a small lake, hiking trails through woodlands and along the gorge and rim. Buttermilk waterfall is the largest of the 10 waterfalls in this park. It plunges 600 feet down the gorge.
