    ... was getting the train down from Birmingham and we were a bit late meeting him but it was nice to be back together as a family after a week. It was even nicer to see the Macleods again and see how all the kids have grown since they visited in NZ a few years ago. The kids were straight in the garden playing rounders and Cub (a new one for the boys) whilst we caught up with Cal and Abs and then all had tea and scones outside together.     ... take away some of the enjoyment for me. But even so, the wax figures were amazing – so life like! There were different sections for singers, movie stars, royals, history etc. You could get your picture taken with the queen if you wanted J The also had a horror section. It was very dark and there were cages with waxwork figures inside. The scary thing was that there were real people that would jump out at you! Then they had little cars you jumped on and went on a tour ...

    ... will have to widen our search to a smaller type store. By the end of the day we have found the perfect little French dress. Just wished we could have found a little tam and scarf to complement the dress, or a little Paris purse. We get a early start on day 7 to walk to the train station and take the train to the “Château de Versailles”.     This morning we checked out of our apartment. Incredible now far and wide we managed to strew our belongings in 5 days. We popped up the road for a quick spin around the Natural History Museum, after we checked out. Another great museum, some good interactive exhibits...
