          Myself, meanwhile am so disappointed with Oasis, they have had no contact with him, no phone calls, emails, he called them about cancelling the trip and any refund, but they have just referred to their T&C’s

          I don’t expect anything from the driver or guide, they are still in Africa, he has sent them emails to bring them up to speed on events, they have sent replies back

          ... It doesn't appear to have changed a bit. I can still see the large boathouse and the tree we used to use for a swing and drop off into the river. Gosh, did we really swim in this mucky water? Yes, actually we did! We used to arrive on this bank after work on a Friday evening with our rucksacks and camping gear.           ... t have long in transit but both took the opportunity to have a shower. Our problem was that we didn't get our big suitcases back in London so only had the clothes we were wearing and no toilet bags - but at least we were clean at skin level and felt a million times better!!

          There was a delay in the plane leaving Singapore - can't remember what that one was for - so we sat on the tarmac for an hour before taking off. But once again ...

          ... were in fits of laughter!! :D It gave Eli the opportunity to test if his new trousers were waterproof as advertised.

          After we had eaten we spent the next hour or so wandering around the streets, looking into shops here and there. There was some really cool old buildings. One of the most impressive ones was the Public Courts of Justice building. It was massive old greyish building. Kyria said it is referred to as the 'old bailey' in the Botany Bay song.

          London Heathrow to Denver 6:25am-4:05pm

          On the ground 4:05pm-6:40pm

          Denver to Kansas City 6:40pm-8:20pm

          So far, all is well as I sit in the British Airways Business Class South Lounge. I'll be off to my gate shortly.
