We only had one show today at 2pm since it's a holiday and I guess the assumption is that families have plans later on in the day. No fireworks scheduled (someone said they're illegal in MA so I don't know if that's across the board or only for individuals) so the circus is buying us pizza and beer/soda for everyone to enjoy after the show.

More rain last night flooded the lot a bit more but thankfully the river next ...

We didn't have a sponsor in Spencer and we were scheduled here for two days, which made us all a bit nervous, but we set up shop next to their fairgrounds where a carnival had their rides set up. ... NY at The Villages of Turning Stone RV Park - it's on the Oneida Indian Nation reservation --- looks just like Foxwoods. It's a beautiful campground --- not many people here and nice & quiet. We learned a good lesson today --- always check the pwer/services at the site before lowering the levelers and opening the slides ---- we found that the power was activated at the site and had to move to a different site. ... and sister-in-law? We enjoyed a few delightful hours eating breakfast on the porch, drawing, and chatting before it was time to make the final drive on to Plymouth to return our Bessie. Thanks Jer and Delise for welcoming us back to our home state and with wonderful hugs and enthusiasm. Thanks, too, to my brother Jeremy for being my most faithful blog follower.
