... 1C.
We had a long driving day ahead, so it was tents down and breakfast by 6:30 well before the sun made an appearance.
I made a thermos of tea for the drive. The first cup was nice, a couple of hours later I thought I'd have another and all I got was water. I had this a couple of times where the milk separates from the tea and one gets water and like milk sludge on the surface of the thermos. I think it is the long life milk being used and the continual bouncing on the ...
Wobbly man and hobble along
... As the Draks were made for hiking thats what has to be done, I took the opportunity to join a group going on a day hike. Bottles of wine are around R44 for a descent one, which is about £3.70 ish at current exchange rates, and the beer ...
Raining Bushbabies
... hard to detect, especially being nocturnal. We hear them often, calling around the research area, and I used to see the occasionally when I lived in the forest hut. But this is the most that I have seen in one place - and it is a new sighting for our 'garden species' board, which we fill in every month to document the myriad of species with which we share our space in this lovely park.
What a special night......welcome isinkwe....bushbabies in Zululand ...
