... in fact, and that set the tone for what I hope to be the rest of my trip. From there, we had perfect timing, catching the very next bus with only five minutes of waiting. That arrived at the train station early so we were able to catch the next train with only five minutes of waiting, which also arrived in good time. All in all, we were in Bath before we knew it. Birthday Boy Crumble
... food for tomorrow mostly sorted, a to-do list, train ticket. I should be able to wadner Portsmouth, but if not I'll buy a map. I'll take a ton of pictures but I won't be home till about 9 in the evening. It's going to be quite the day. I'm glad I didn't try for this a different day, travel is usually pretty tiring. As it is, I am pretty tired so I"ll put everything together and sleep. That's the plan.

... the Christmas decor in the kitchen in favour of something else. I'm thinking flowers instead of snowflakes, I need to wipe down the boards and write something on them, and Sarah wants to rearrange furniture. We're also have plans to bake bread, go up to the fair, go dancing, and most importantly make an apple crumble for Nik for his birthday on Monday. I needs to make a card for him.

Phase 6 Day 1
Well we start Phase 6 today. Away after breakfast by 08.15 to head back to Old Sodbury. It was chilly and cloudy with the wind coming from the North -East. I started walking as the school bell rung at Old Sodbury Primary School at 9.00 am. It was misty and cold so I walked quickly to keep warm. Not shorts and t-shirts early on today. The path traversed the side of the hill, through a wood where an owl was probably hunting for breakfast and then up to Little Sodbury Iron ...
