Sampled "liver mush" for brekkie, with bacon and toast, a great start for the day. Then we off from Dev's but we will see her again at Andrew's in June.

Drove across North Carolina and into South Carolina. This is the "Bible Belt" (South-East and South-central USA) and has seemingly hundreds of huge churches, mostly Baptist, even in tiny villages.

... trees, brush, houses etc.... The ice was throughout the whole state. Our goal was to get to Savannah but by the time we got into SC, it was getting darker. We weren't going to reach Savannah until at least 7pm so around 5:pm we called the hampton inn in Santee SC and booked another suite with King and cancelled the much more expensive room in Savannah. ... sloughs of bald cypress and water tupelo. Leaving the park, we headed into Sumter and had Mexican for dinner at Yucatan. Unfortunately, they don’t serve alcohol on Sundays so no beer with our fajitas. Then we went to Swan Lake & Iris Gardens for the Fantasy of Lights.
