... Vermilion through the fall, winter, spring, and summer. I promised Sassy and Odie they could be home for a good long time -- they've already found their old beds, toys, and hiding spots! After that we'll talk about what comes next -- as you can see from the state map there are still some states where we haven't traveled. Who knows . . . . . .
OK so this is my first post on this site.
Here are our stats for today.
Left Oceanport at 8:45am and arrived in Sandusky, OH at 6:45pm.
We traveled 545 miles on I-80 and it was a long and hot ride.
Tomorrow is Chicago which is 250 miles, so an easy ride compared to today.
... arrived in Cleveland, and after lunch we went round the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was really good, very well done and had an amazing photo exhibit by Herb Ritts, which was really good. Spent a couple of hours there and then we got back in the bus and drove to Sandusky where we were camping. Great drive time yesterday. The rain and a good audiobook worked in our favor. 607 miles behind us, a break in the clouds and six of seven discs of a suspense thriller, "The Night Gardener" a children's book by Jonathan Auxier, we have only 900 miles left and five days to get to Baudette. We are about to pull off I-90 and head North up Highway 75 in the lake country ...
