Fortunately this stage was achieved reasonable quickly allowing us some down time to catch up on a few missed zzz's due to the inclement weather last night.

Todays section was from Perranuthnoe to Carleen, taking in 5 miles of the splendid South West Coast Path. The length of the walk was 9.4 miles which took us just over 5 hours to complete.

2nd April 2012.

Set off from Sancreed at 10.00 am, Ted had his yellow jumper on today because the Sun was shining, although there was a little cloud today. The temperature varied between 9.c and 11.c. We walked for a total of 10.4 miles which took 5 hours. We saw lots of flowers and actually walked through 5 fields of daffodils, first time ever.

Sure enough Elizabeth had room and within half an hour I was in the BnB drying out my clothes, my tent and nurturing my wounded pride with a hot cup of tea and scones with clotted cream and jam - a Cornish delicacy! !Okay here it is...unedited fully real look at what a day on the road presently looks like for me.

This was when I decided to hop a train down to Cornwall to visit my friend and former housemate Jessica where she was attending school in Penryn.

- Up at 6:10am in order to pack up tent and stuff to be at the Train station by 8:59am
