    ... together. They both love to play Minecraft- so it was a great bond. Elena was actually able to FaceTime and play Minecraft with her best friend back in Valencia on a regular basis. We are currently en route to Indiana Dunes State Park. It is located at the tip of Lake Michigan East of Gary Indiana. It is said to have white sandy beaches and huge sand dunes .     ... I need more layers tomorrow... there is a snow advisory, sooooooo there's that.

    Eric caught a bunch of walleye on Monday, so we had a fish fry at the lodge restaurant "Waterfront Mary's" and ate on that tonight. It was delicious.

    Better call it, we are back at it at 5 am tomorrow.

    ... luck, but everyone still wanted a 3 night stay even after labor day. I'm sure I could have got something last minute, but I couldn't wait that long. From the first call to all our subsequent calls and communication to our check in and breakfast in the morning they were nothing but easy to work with and friendly and helpful. I wanted very much to stay longer and enjoy it more.

    Arrived yesterday afternoon at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Staying at a campground where our dear friends Robin and Steve Albertson have a permanent site.     ... The other four times were in Michigan over the last two days. Each time, the Michigan Department of Public Works saw fit to announce this important passage. It's the halfway point between the Equator and the North Pole (did you know that? I didn't). We crossed it in Wisconsin this afternoon and the only demarcation was the 44th Parallel Winery. Wisconsin is clearly much less impressed with it's singular geography.
