      ... here. There are numerous orchards. We stopped at one today and sampled cherry everything. From cherry fudge to cherry salsa. Oh, we did leave with fresh cherry donuts in hand.       ... The other four times were in Michigan over the last two days. Each time, the Michigan Department of Public Works saw fit to announce this important passage. It's the halfway point between the Equator and the North Pole (did you know that? I didn't). We crossed it in Wisconsin this afternoon and the only demarcation was the 44th Parallel Winery. Wisconsin is clearly much less impressed with it's singular geography.
