Eric caught a bunch of walleye on Monday, so we had a fish fry at the lodge restaurant "Waterfront Mary's" and ate on that tonight. It was delicious.

... luck, but everyone still wanted a 3 night stay even after labor day. I'm sure I could have got something last minute, but I couldn't wait that long. From the first call to all our subsequent calls and communication to our check in and breakfast in the morning they were nothing but easy to work with and friendly and helpful. I wanted very much to stay longer and enjoy it more.

... The other four times were in Michigan over the last two days. Each time, the Michigan Department of Public Works saw fit to announce this important passage. It's the halfway point between the Equator and the North Pole (did you know that? I didn't). We crossed it in Wisconsin this afternoon and the only demarcation was the 44th Parallel Winery. Wisconsin is clearly much less impressed with it's singular geography.
