... amp; it lasted over a century. Rebuilt in 1830's it has been battered by numerous storms. In 2001 & 2008 tropical storms caused considerable flooding so in 2012 they started constructing a new reinforced wall. We are seeing new construction all down the coast as man tries to hold back nature! We listened to a program on the radio on Global warming predicting South Florida to be underwater in 200 yrs - so it's a good job we visiting ...

... hour and feeling like we were flying! Finally we arrived at our destination and had plenty of company at the Walmart. There were about a half dozen or more other rigs spending the night as well. This area is completely dry here since it hasn't rained here yet. We will keep our fingers crossed that it’s heading the other way.

    ... minute walk, found a place that was selling tickets, then headed over to the start point. So we
    walked around town on a ghost walk, learning about the history and taking pictures of orbs. There were a few good tales and it was an interesting experience. It was a good way to see the town as we would not have time in the morning and we were lazy in the afternoon. After
    the ghost walk we walked back to the hotel and off to bed.

    Our site is the last in a group and sits open to the woods on the driver's side. On the other side I met a couple from Switzerland with their young son.
