We made it to the airport about 6am and checked in for our flight to Lima. We managed to get through carry on only again, which is great. The flight was with LAN, this was the first time I'd flown with them and they seem really good. The flight time was 5 hours and we had cooked bacon and egg breakfast, they even had metal cutlery!

Had our first day wandering round lima today.must have walked over 10 miles but saw loads. The city is enormous, apparently 9m people live here. The traffic is mental, you drive really fast, dive into a space already occupied by another car and just beep your horns at each other and repeat the process every 50ft.
