... it was not cheap to eat there these days. We weren't hungry yet anyways, so we continued down toward the waterway. There is a street that runs along the river aptly named River Street that is lined with trinket shops, kiosks and restaurants. There were two tall ships and two paddle wheelers docked along the river as well. The tall ships were open for tour at a cost and the paddle wheeler advertised that it would be taking folks on ...

    Taking Off

Today is the day! Jonathan, Keith, Charlie and I are heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Jonathan and I did some grocery shopping last night and all I have to say is we are set in the snack department. Dropping Baxter off at Pet Paradise this morning was, as usual, a little sad. He didn't fuss but I got "The Look" as he rounded the corner out of my view. I am picking up the van at 12:30 after work then off we go! Stay tuned for more interesting posts and ...

Very stormy day in Charleston, SC today (and for the last 3 days in a row); and forecasted to be stormy right through Wed. So making today a driving day!!!

Charleston is affectionately known as "the low country", because the streets pretty much flood and close down whenever it rains an inch or more. Brilliant.

Today was picture perfect moment on the water in St Augustine Florida. Not a lot of tourist to fight in lines and easy to find the boat. As I purchased my tickets at the city Marina we quickly boarded the Captain Jack light house ferry. The boat clean, safe and very comfortable for my mother. They had wine, beer, and sodas onboard. I would definitely visit them again! They have a website called www.floridasaintaigustine.com Ghost boat in st Augustine ...

We'll, we arrived after 7 hours travel . Deelee drove most of the way because she is the better driver. We'll, we humoured her!

This condo is great. I think we are on the beach 'cos I can hear the sea but it's too dark to see.

Went to the local pub and had a great steak . We were inside 'cos it was dark and cold outside. So maybe in the light tomorrow we ...
