... market in America' they like to claim things don't they? Anyway we walked around, Philly cheese steaks were there, they are well known for that. All sorts of different cuisines. I decided that I was missing British food at this point and just wanted meat veg and potato. So we found a place that did Turkey and mash potato. Fantastic! Just along the street from our apartment, there’s a tiny little house standing on its own. It’s got a huge American flag hanging on the side wall. Supposedly, there was a lady by the name of Betsy Ross who lived here, and one day soon-to-be President/ then General George Washington popped in to ask her to sew him a flag that they accredit to be the first American flag. ... Anyhow, we then decided to get a bus back to the museum for some more quality art. We began at the medieval stuff, then through the Amwerican art, and then to the European. There was a live music performance in-house and I had a san gria before we drove back. We had dinner very late at 10.15 though it was worth the wait: the shoiulder of lamb with sun dried tomatoes and red wine sauce tasted even better on the 2nd day.

But we were sitting next to a couple who seemed to be, and were, restaurant aficionados. They recommended numerous places, for lunch, dinner or breakfast.
