    The morning of New Years Eve, we jumped in the car with Sasha and set out to see some more of Connecticut. We saw adorable town after adorable town, and had lunch at an old fashioned general store near Goshen. We drove through Cornwall, a perfect little town with a 200 year old covered bridge. The day trip ended with a hike to the top of a beautiful hill, where we were able to document the last day of the year with justice. ...

    My flight to New Zealand is in 4 days and I think I have everything ready to go. It is hard to say though because I have never planned for a trip quite like this.

    The main supplies I will be bringing are:

    • 65 Liter Backpack
    • 2 person tent
    • Cooking stove and utilities,

    ... a site along the railroad track. It was a bug infested night....but when morning came....off to town! Sunday, July 20 2014 The bugs suck here, but we are about to head out and go to a hotel......so the bugs can feast on other hikers!
