Started the day with a
tour of Jim beams distillery including samples. The honey bourbon with
ice and water was OK but nothing I'd buy.
Heading towards Cleveland to visit the Rock Hall of fame as our last visit before heading home.
Got stuck in a couple of traffic jams and torrential rain.
Again the radio was interrupted for warnings.....thunderstorms and
flooding. That's OK as long as they don't come ...
... luckily weren’t slowed down by it. Judy, FYI…when we stopped for gasoline it was $3.59/galleon. We are getting right at 10 MPG which includes sitting parked with the motor running several times. We did manage to take a scenic tour of low rent housing in Columbus which actually looked much better than some we have seen in other cities in the past.

... about the history of the prison and the inmates that are still housed there. Yes, I mean a ghost tour. Regardless of what tour you are on you are not allowed to take pictures out of the windows. Bordering the now closed prison is two active prisons. It is a federal crime to photograph an active prison. This I did not know. We could look out the window and see 100's of orange suits dotting the prison yards.

... today...the kids in Centerburg LOVE their circus! Such a great response from everyone....lots of laughter, smiles, singing, and general mayhem occurred. :) The folks at the nursing homes were also very appreciative of a short visit from us...many smiles and hand shakes as we passed from room to room.
Our day ended a bit early today, which was good because we had some business stuff ...
