    Wow! What a day! Cloudy and rainy as we headed off. Stopped for fuel and and Greg asked the lady at the service station 'Will we get some sunshine today?' She replied 'No we had summer last Wednesday!' Thankfully the day cleared as we headed to Land's End the most western part of mainland UK. We passed 2 people on bikes with their poor little dog on a lead trotting along behind them!!! No kangaroos ...

    Our morning in Cherbourg was quite busy with a few garden centres to explore, a motorhome dealers to look for a new fridge.
    However we did take some time out to call to Normandie Wine Warehouse which is very convenient near the town centre. The owner speaks fluent English and understands your requirements and soon recommend as he says....suitable for drinking!
