    We complete the oligotrophic tarn hike just in time to be seated for our fresh popovers and strawberry jam. (Have we gone far enough to work off the calories....who cares?!).     On Thursday, we gathered for our initial caravan orientation and the Bean Hole Bean dinner. The dinner consisted of the Bean Hole Beans (soaked dried beans, seasoned, with chopped bacon), grilled hot dogs, slaw, and a fresh roll – very good and so “comfort food”. For desert, we had a Good Texas sheet cake with a very chocolate icing – delicious!
