(We were actually looking for a 'rest area' and couldn't find one - and that's when we learned about the service plazas.) So, unfortunately, we ate a lot of ******, overpriced meals while held hostage by ...

... to explore some of the trails in the park and also pay a visit to Bar Harbor. The kids have been wanting to start a camp fire and roast some marshmallows since we started the trip and we finally got a chance to get a fire going. Today's arrival is our earliest so we were able to setup camp and have some time to relax by the fire.
