The following day, the rain was coming down non-stop. Hearing horror stories of how foreigners flying general aviation aircraft into the US are treated, we made sure to do everything by the book. Low and behold, immigration in Bangor was a breeze and they were super friendly. Folks seem to like us all the more when we tell them our travel plans ;-). The ...

... perks: 1) longer rest hours, so more time to chill out in the cabin! 2) cinema trip!! On Saturday, we took my cabin and a few others to go see the prequel to Monsters Inc. at the cinema, and it was ace! Absolutely loved it, and it was also a couple of hours where I could just switch off and enjoy the film. We even got popcorn and soda :-D Today was a day off so we went to Castine, which was a great ...
