... get some nice heavy squats. They have a pretty good range of equipment and a pool we can use too so I'm sure that will be nice in the winter. We were pretty exhausted after and just made a trip to Walmart for a few more things then relaxed.

Overall it's been a pretty quiet week but it's been nice to just take it slow as it's been pretty crazy up to this and we know it's gonna get pretty crazy in a months time!!

... Once we got home Darren spent a few hours sketching some cool pictures and I cooked dinner with the smallest piece of counter space ever!! It's going to be interesting preparing meals but I'm sure it'll be fun!!

Another evening of Criminal Minds...we think this will be how most of our nights are spent!!

We also found out that they have vacuums that we can borrow so that's another thing we can save money on!! YAY!

          Love from the shoebox!!

It was so lucky to reach the Rockies when the Aspen trees were wearing their golden colour. It does not happen for long so I enjoy my week there with Pickles and for few days with Theo before he flew back to London.
My french friends would say that the Rockies don't have the majesty of the french Alps but I love their softness and the fact that you can reach the summit within few hours but still can climb verticals ...

... shops and just being a tourist. We rode a gondola up to the summer play area where there are all sorts of activities for families. It has been well thought out as a way to use the area all year long. Some of the activities included sliding down trails like bobsledding using a specially made sled inside a track, Segway tours, mazes and jeep tours. We lucked up again as we seem to do a lot and were able to get a jeep tour with just us and a guide for ...

... br> We made a few stops on the way - the first being not too far from Pat's house, where there is a paddock full of prairie dogs. When I got up close to take photos, they disappeared down their burrows. I did manage to get a couple of photos, though.

Our next stop was in Silverthorne, whiere Pat showed me an osprey nest, which apparently had been used this year by a bald eagle. There was ...
