... Bottlenose Dolphins schwimmen vor uns her. Sie lassen sich nicht stören, sind offenbar unterwegs zu Fischgründen, daher haben sie wohl auch kein besonderes Interesse an uns. Sie schwimmen nur wenige Meer vor dem Boot, und fast kann man die Hand danach ausstrecken. ... en (und das war ein Highway…), die Häuser wurden we*****, Schafe und Kühe mehr, nach jeder Kurve gab es ein anderes Bild.

Whangarei selber hat sich leider als sehr hässlich herausgestellt, Industriestadt halt. Das Town Basin am Hafen ist ganz nett gemacht, aber der Rest – nunja, kein Grund zu bleiben!

Bin ich aber trotzdem, hab mich nur die meiste Zeit in der Natur aufgehalten :)

... I just left James in the capable hands of the crew and they did a fine job of wrapping James` head up mummy style. After they were done with him he jumped in a Kayak and when I came up from snorkelling and spotted him I first thought it was some old man with white hair and a beard in the kayak beacause of the bandaging but when I realized it was James I burst into laughter once more.
