... dirt path towards the rose garden. On the way we see gardeners a plenty, manicuring the lawns, pulling weeds and even one using clippers to clip the grass lining the path, making sure it is even. We have never see such meticulous care on a garden, and can't imagine how much time it takes to trim with clippers each blade of grass that dares to rise higher than the rest. The rose garden overlooks the lake and is set in a circular pattern. There are only 4 varieties ...

It was such a dreadful rush to get everything sorted in Seaford that I had no time to dwell on thoughts of being away for a year. I was neither scared nor excited, just really glad to have got virtually everything done before I locked up the house, handed the keys to the agent and left. The first campsite was fairly basic but with my well equipped van that didn't matter. What was important was the location right inside Savernake Forest and only a ...

... I've felt gross ever since. Note to self: No more Pembroke BBQs.

Natalie and Pete stopped by the office to work for a bit, so we got to chat and have fun. I also shared what I've finished so far of the a cappella arrangement, and everyone thinks it looks good ...

Today is the start of our 22 day Discovery of Britain and Ireland tour with Insight Tours. We leave at 8.30am and it's wet surprisingly!!! It's a bank holiday weekend so that was the reason for so many people at Brighton yesterday. There are 7 million people in London and 56 million in the British Isles. Today we're going to Oxford, the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon. We drive through Buckinghamshire on our way to Oxford. Before ...

As we had arrived there quite late the night before, we hadn't seen the place. The host was quite gracious to give us extra time to look around and told us about the Salmon Lake which we decided to explore.

We stopped by Oxford and took a sneek peek at Trinity College in the University of Oxford. The chapel & Dinning Hall were open for visitation. This college oozes with history as it was founded in 1555 by Sir Thomas Pope.
