... a replica school that Laura taught 5 pupils in when she
was 16. A lot of the stores mentioned in the books still exist.

From there we headed to Walnut Grove.
This features heavily in the TV series and was where Laura and her
family lived a few times. She was younger in Walnut Grove and
remembers living in a house dug out of Banks of Plum Creek. The spot
where the dugout was has collapsed but ...
