¡Ya llegué! My first days in Buenos Aires!

... for the duration of five nights and six days, I believe. I was due in at my host house/family on February 2nd. I made some friends at the hostel, got to know San Telmo and Buenos Aires pretty well from walking around every single day, and didn't have much of an appetite during these first two weeks! It was a good time = D

Let's hope that part keeps up, and we'll see where this adventure in Argentina takes me!

Turbulente, vibrante, ennivrante Buenos Aires.

Ville du Tango par excellence, des livres, mais surtout ville qui ne dort jamais!

Vendredi, apres une nuit (retour vers 5h du matin) tres, que dis-je, trop arrosee de "Champagne" argentin - qui a quand meme l'audace de se vendre sous les marques “Chandon” et “Mumm” (par contre sur l’etiquette ils ne mettent pas en garde contre l’enorme mal de tete qui s’en suit), la journee ...

... as you take a boat ride through the Amazonian rainforest with all types of wildlife popping up in the nearby trees, islands, and water. Not the biggest nature enthusiast normally I was even blown away as guides pointed out alligators, parrots, brown otters, piranhas, condors. The rooms were to say the least different with one wall of the normal four missing which meant one large open space by the bed where you were 'at one with nature’ as the marketing material ...

... in fact english. Kinda put me off getting many more even if they do only cost 20p...Good weather though, was too hot for a cardigan! Every Argentinian i passed on the street was wearing scarf, coat and some even wore gloves. One of the hostel guys couldnīt believe that I could possibly describe todays weather as anything more than "pretty rubbish". Everyone keeps complaining of the cold. Ended the day drinking far too ...
