The one where we were still in Canada....

... another 45 minutes or so Young cheery guys comes back with a smile on his face and tells us “Sorry guys, but you won’t be entering the US today”. WHAT!?! Apparently according to young smile face the TN Visa isn’t for us and we have to go to the consulate in Vancouver and reapply for a different type of Visa. Sounds easier that it actually is since well it’s the weekend and regardless that is NOT an overnight process. I’m not going to even both getting into ...

... like! Its HR assistant at a transport company and theres actually more to do than put numbers/files in boxes and stare at the clock! Month contract with potential to be extended and not bad pay either, so I'm pretty chuffed. At least I can stop bloomin job hunting for a week or so. You may also remember I'm working at an arena? Well after 1 shift and in no way because they're shortstaffed and have no alternative, I've been ...

... After trying out different bikes for nearly an hour, I settled on a light blue bicycle. The parking lot is relatively small, so make sure you get there early to find a parking spot. It is open Mon-Sat 9.30-6 and Sun 11-5. After purchasing the bike, we visited the 'Han Ah Reum' Korean supermarket. My Korean friends had been raving about this supermarket for a long time. Although ...

Although Leitchi's translation has never been directly challenged it has always been suspicious since a business relationship is known to have existed between Leitchi and the Oak Island Association, the 1860's recovery company. Recently Keith Ranville, a Cree First Nations researcher announced his challenge of Leitchi's translation stating... "Birch Island holds the ...

... legs for us. He wasn't for sale, he was just showing off for us! We moved on and met up with a friend of his who was selling a young camel by the name of Johnny B. Goode. He was a nice looking camel, but he was more expensive, and he wasn't trained, which meant that if I bought him, I wouldn't have been able to ride him right away. Apparently it takes a few months to train a camel so that he can be ridden. I moved on, and kind of wandered off on my own. I didn't really know what ...

We're still here in Vancouver. The weather is still perfect. Everyone is enjoying it because I guess they had a lot of rain and cloudy days before we got here. You wouldn't know they ever experienced winter here by the way they look. The people match their environment so well. They walk and ride and run with their dogs etc. The girls in colourful sun dresses stream past the cafe's and small funky shops found on "the drive" (Commercial Dr) Tattooed ...

Birthdays... and more changes...?

... I can't determine. A few things depend on a few others, but we could be doing... Krakow, Warsaw, Pluznica, Gdansk, Szczecin, Berlin, Poznan, Warsaw. It would allow us to be in Pluznica for the long weekend which is a big perk, but it makes the time in Berlin a little tighter, and I need to change our hotel reservation-- which I don't think should be that big of a deal. Oh last minute changes!! You might not know where we are going until we are there... -Ashley

... in goal so we got the shutout) then caught up on sleep that was lost dancing up a storm at Oddessey, today was spent running errands in the mall and I made a purchase of a Canucks Jersey to wear to Madison Square Garden when I see the Rangers take on Ottawa (and yes, I am aware that a Canucks jersey is totally out of place- that's the idea!) and when I get home it can go on my wall!!! Gin and tonics and movies tonight, then more hockey tomorrow night!!! Woo Vancouver!

... floor. I must admit I was a little bit disappointed with their Treetops Adventure but I suppose it was constructed in such a way so that even people with mobility issues could enjoy the squirrel's-eye view of the rainforest from the treetops. Near the entrance to the park, there was a carving centre where Native carvers were demonstrating their skills. Totem poles were also erected in this area including one with a hole so that you could stick your ...
