    ... stop I walked to the edge to look over & couldn't believe that I was seeing a few tents down below. Who camps like this? We continued our journey north on the Ric******* Highway, absolutely nothing along this stretch except the Alaskan pipeline. So happy when we arrived in the small town of Glennallen. Jeff stopped for gas, even though we didn't need it, we knew gas stations were far & few.

    We knew today was going to be a long drive to Anchorage for Winnie to be repaired at Great Alaskan Holiday's service center so we planned to leave at 7:00. Well, at 4:00 AM I heard Ben putting away the electric cord and the water hose under the motor home. Any of you that know him well will not be surprised at this early departure time.
