... one of the most active in the world. It is still snow covered and spewing a bit of steam.

We are staying at the Panoramic Hotel in the lovely little village of Taormina. Our room overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. It's absolutely beautiful. The hotel manager suggested a restaurant in the village. It's mother's day, and Eldon wanted to treat me. We face timed both of the kids and got to ...

The Gorge of Alcantara was another picturesque spot. The hotel concierge insisted it was a must see! And it was truly beautiful, - however we just weren't up to "Canyoning" or "Body Surfing". Time to move on....

Great experience at cooking class today. The setting is a Villa that is available for rent--Villa Britannia Taormina. Luisa Vittorio was our hostess. The chef, Carmelo, introduced the menu: aperitif, seafood salad, spring vegetable risotto, swordfish stuffed with seafood, green beans & a trifle dessert. We shared the day with a newly wed couple from London, Alec and Jasmine. It ...
