      ... Catania for Palm Sunday (really Saturday night) mass. After mass I treated myself to a wonderful meal complete with pizza, mussels, and wine. Life could not have been better.       Last day had perfect weather. We went to an ancient theater with the casual Volcano as the background scenery. Mt. Etna was huge and beautiful.       left port of Messina and took a bus about 1 hour away to Taormina.  Really great tour guide for this tour.    Visited a great Greco Roman theatre, first built by Greeks then later rebuilt by the Romans with a fantastic view of the sea.  The town was very cute, and plenty of shopping.  Worth a trip ...
