... two temperate rain forests. Whew! No wonder that it is also a World Heritage Site. The van and I took a nice ferry ride to the northernmost part and then proceeded to have a really great time. Mount Olympus is like a mini version of Mt. My wonderful Aunt Didi (Diane) has a wonderful best friend, whom I've only met once as an adult & whom I immensely enjoyed talking to. Her name is Vickie & her daughter's name is Cara. Cara and I have become Facebook friends, as we'd been told we had many similarities (including a love for football.) Well, they just so happen to live in Olympia (Washington's capitol, if you don't know.) As I was already planning on being in the area to go to ...

... hamburger patties and did the american hamburger bbq thing a couple of wines and lovely evening outside enjoying the mild night, pretty bloody good day actually, relaxing, fun and just what we needed. Oh forgot to mention late in the afternoon sitting in the sun waiting for the boys and a racoon did a wee wander round the yard, fortunately not too close or I would have freeked but close enough to be ...
