After spending the whole of my twenties as an expat in the Netherlands, I’m once again living in the Pacific Northwest. Nearly eleven years to the day I returned to Olympia, Washington. So here I am back in my home country trying to pretend I still know what’s going on. There’ve been a few embarrassing moments but I seem to be settling in alright, if I do say so myself.

... s market, but lo, it was closed for the day. From there we parted ways, but I was happy to have spent such a lovely afternoon with new friends and see more of such a beautiful city!

Before going to my next stop, I spent the rest of the day walking around the peer near the Oyster House. It was such a nice day & the area is peaceful, so I loved checking out all the sites on my own, especially the local street art. A nice Washington day!

Anyway, I think my new cover looks good and it is going to secure and protect mine and Christy's stuff when we drive back to Mississippi in a few weeks. I will also be able to get a lot of use out of it as long as I have to ...
