... on the way into Fussen to take photos of the Alps & Schloss Neuschwanstein. It is a spectacular sight perched high in the mountain tops.
We drive into Schwangau to find accomodation. We head to the information centre & Clint rings some places on the accomodation board. He finds us a gorgeous guest house on the outskirts of town. We were very comfortable. We ate at a nearby restuarant for dinner & slept well in our very comfortable beds.

I have been along this road quite a few times now in the passed and so know
it well or so I thought I did.
I stopped at a roadside parking bay and took a few more shots of the Alps
and really thought that was the last and as from there I raced on as fast as I
could along this great road.

On our journey we saw the Bavarian Alps for the first time which almost took our breath away. That coupled with the Bavarian medieval architecture they haven't updated since the Middle Ages makes the view absolutely magnificent.
