Left the Walmart parking lot in Champaign, Illinois a little after 6 a.m. heading west on I-70. We decided it made good sense to stop for dinner on the road, rather than try to find a restaurant near our hotel still serving around 10:00 pm and were lucky enough to find **** Hacienda, a really good Mexican restaurant in Galesburg. Most of the rest of our journey was on the Interstate which was quite busy at times and it was a very hot afternoon. We arrived at our Super 8 Hotel at about 5pm.

Dinner at Old Chigacos which was an Italian restaurant. I had a gluten free pizza and not much beer tonight. Our waitress was a waiter, very nice lad but not somebody I fancied having a photograph with. Early night and in bed by 10pm.
