    Rte 6 is the 2nd longest continuous highway in USA; from Bishop, CA to Cape Cod. Christmas lights, Christmas carolers, stores and shops have an array of bargains, Christmas vendors on the street, and people dressed in colonial attire. Different events welcoming the Christmas holiday season. You don't want to miss this and parking can be trying, but going early pays dividends.     ... getting caught in a lot of rain and wind, but the rain slowed down by lunch time to just a light drizzle. We decided to brave the weather and head out to the PA Grand Canyon. We took our raincoats with us, but actually ended up not getting caught in any rain at all. It was still pretty windy though, but we had a great time anyway.
