Back to civilization
It was time to leave Katmai National Park today. I flew back to King Salmon on a float plane, caught a bus to the airport and boarded a larger prop plane for the flight to Anchorage International Airport. After stopping at a Taco Bell, I checked into my hotel where I enjoyed a nice shower, clean clothes and a warm bed for the first time in a week.
