... the river still has lots of ice flow in it - amazing considering it is now May. Travelled thru some really pretty villages including Ellicotville which seems to be basically a ski resort - snow still on some runs, certainly not enough to ski on but good for tourist photos!

... pm we rolled away from our house and are now 31 miles from our first campground, Clear Creek State Park in western PA. We should be there by 10 pm. Clara is asleep and Serena is explaining to Ron just how horrible the Disney show "Dog with a Blog" is. That discussion inspired by my current activity. ... way raged with all the storms the area has experienced.

With the weather affecting our plans, we only got out to take one really great hike through the "Black Forest" . The boys got a little cabin fever so one day when the weather cleared for a short time, we took them to a go kart track that was about 4 miles from the park entrance... Too funny to find this go kart/mini golf place in the middle of nowhere.
