... I should admit I sometimes confuse "north" with "up". The trail is very accessible, the only (of late) without 500 stairs, leading to a roar of rushing water that is High Falls. The falls are wonderfully hidden until the end of the trail, so you get that "WOW" moment. That's my favorite. When I stop having those moments, this trip might be over, but I don't think ...

... stretches out about 20 feet over the cliff. It was pretty interesting stepping out on the platform and being able to look down about 400 feet. You can see from the pictures that Sheila was a bit apprehensive about the platform. Out next hike was along Joe Creek. This hike was a little over a mile and followed the Joe Creek down to Lake Superior.
