The day has finally arrived when Johnnie and I are off to Australia. We have both been up since 5:30 this morning with very little sleep. T'was the night before take off when all through the house,
all the creatures were stirring even ourselves.
Johnnie is crazy and I'm following suit.
Kitty is thinking, "Can't wait to give them the boot. The stockings are hung and a decorated tree. My oh my, an adventure for me!!!!"
The suitcases are packed, well sort of, and all our technology too.

What a miserable place!
It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.

We looked around for a while and found the cabin we had reserved ( Cabin 1) and surprised the folks who were staying in it and who knew nothing about our reservation or the whereabouts of the campground operators. At this point we folded our tent and went to the Days Inn in Rocky Mount to recouped and get some dinner.
