Today started off in Madawaska ME. with more rain, The Best Western in Edmundston Canada was very nice. the General Manager Marc took nearly $80 off my bill when I told him what I was doing with The ONE Ride. Thank you Marc. Crossing the Canadian boarder in the rain, again, the US customs agent gave me a great tip. I would be a mile from the ...

After second lunch, we visited the Ogunquit Museum of Art where we enjoyed a private tour and saw works by American artists including Winslow Homer and (new to me) DeWitt ...

... which we did. That earned us lunch at the Cockeyed Gull and made-in-Maine ice cream before boarding the late afternoon ferry back to Portland.

Marette found a great walking tour with Linda Johnson and we scheduled that for Saturday. Linda's Beaten Path Tour is the very best way to get acclimated to Portland! As a long-time resident, she knows the history and the little-known spots. We walked at a leisurely pace ...
