... stuff to the new trailer. The old trailer had so much more storage, so it was a dilemma. Thursday morning the final touches were made to the custom hitch to carry our bikes and we left around noon. We drove to the first big parking lot and both of us just sat in the car. What had we done? Did we know how to work this new beast? Where were we headed? After an hour or so we put on our big girl panties and headed to New York!

We woke late Saturday after a very full week. We were looking forward to an afternoon balloon ride to view the fabled Autumn leaves from above. Sadly, this was not to be. The heavy winds of the past week had halted all balloon flights - and ours was no exception. It was rescheduled for Monday, at 6am. Not looking forward ...

... in Burlington is run to partly service the University of Vermont and has some reasonably healthy options. OK, OK, I did have a side order of home fries!

I am a student of motor cars and here Subaru reigns, specifically the Outback model. Yesterday I counted 24 of 27 cars passing were this model! It is amazing. Oh, of course, the second most common is the ever present Ford F150 pick-up and soon they will be thinking of fitting their snow clearing blades.

... even searched for appropriate buildings to house the collections and had them dismantled and moved to the location.

The first building had a furniture collection and the next contained American art. Dave commented, "I feel like we are at the Antiques Road Show without the lines of people."

After more waiting, I was called up again, but this time the Border Official explained that they were satisfied that it was another 'Paul Smith' they were looking for.
