... little town! We are staying at the victorian Landsdowne Arms Hotel right in the middle of town. Every other storefront is a really great restuarant. I am a bit over the pub grub by now, so this is a welcomed change for sure! I had every intention of uploading pics last night but caught up in a conversation with Roger and Pearl from the UK. They were hilarious...she wanted to know all about American TV...."Do you watch Castle???" of course that's my ...

They worked together in Waterford in the mid 70s.It was an interesting show and well put together showing the early lifeboats and trains of a by gone era.The Courtmacsherry lifeboat was the first one at the scene of the sinking of the Lusitenia in 1915 off the Old Head of Kinsale where 1200 lives were lost.

I had issues trying to schedule planes and trains... to France and between French workaways, so I gave up and found these people near Skegness. I admit I was also intimidated by the thought of navigating through a country without knowing any of the language, especially when you hear the stories about the snotty French and their disdain for those who don't ...

... road to the vistas of Muckross Lake, I started having to hit the weeds and potholes at the side of the road to keep out of the way of oncoming traffic. It was a real challenge, made even harder by the fact that I was dead on my feet. So when we stopped for the last time at The Ladies View, I was glad. The view was spectacular even in the mist from the rain. Only 10 kilometers to Kenmare, our stopping place for the next three nights. We ...
