      ... by Florida standards. Tomorrow we head to Doolin, quite the drive about 3 hours. We will cross the River Shannon on a car ferry at the town of Tarbert. We are planning on taking a 4 hour cruise to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Mohr (as seen from the ocean side, a wee bit safer..) We miss you all, including our little one left behind in the competent care of Kevin and Christie, known to the blog readers as Lola's New Best Friend and Lola's Servant... ...

Getting used to everything being backwards...I almost got hit by a car as I wasn't looking the right way. We should be well adjusted by the time Bill has to drive.       We traveled west to Bantry, continued the drive up to Glengariff and then took R572 to Castletownbere where we stopped for lunch...we continued around the peninsula till we reached Lauragh and then cut across the peninsula by taking Healy was a great drive!
