... it was great to meet such a knowledgable and friendly person, who also makes such interesting jewellery. Lunch with a friend was next on the agenda. It was in a little Persian restaurant called "The Side Dish". The food was fragrant and flavoursome and I felt like I had known Shalah (Sholeh's dear friend from when they were in their 20's) for a long time instead of only just meeting her. ... I looked back and mum was so teary! I cried so much on the ferry ride over just knowing I can't travel a few hours and be with mum! :( That night went to Ryan's and was really nice hanging out with him not being emotional! The place is quite magical at night with the lights etc. we followed Jane's suggestions and managed a fish and chip meal as well as a visit to the Museum.. In fact I went back in the evening to explore is open til 10pm and you can visit more than once in a day on the same ticket. Stephen went chasing the whales to day and managed some great shots of ...

... Ball ferry terminali s complicated and slow. Clear skies & warm weather....our fates our sealed. We get a smile, a nod and often a response that includes a hint of jealousy when we answer the questions, "Where are you headed?" or "How long will you be gone?" whether asked by family, friends, strangers or even American border guards. Next stop....Port Townsend, ...
