If you don't like history there's a woolly mammoth (covered in musk ox fur - I asked), lots of totems poles and a submarine to explore - if you are lucky, Annette the septo/octogenarian originally from Scotland will test your marine general knowledge - requested or otherwise - very funny, she was great fun!

a North American type parade.
Numerous marching bands participate and all bring their particular style of music and choreography. Together with local businesses and community groups they form a two hour parade full of music, colour, community and business promotion. The crowds cheered and clapped and encouraged the participants. It was very much like you we see in the movies.

... beautiful walk at the beach. It was a pebble beach but I loved climbing the rocks, as well as seeing a few kite surfers flying over the waves...

My last evening was concluded with a pleasant sunset walk around the other side of the harbor. I finally got to see the huge (!!) cruise ship and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the Parliament Building all light up like a Christmas tree. Sadly I couldn't take a picture of it.
