... William Bowers Bourn owned the Muckross house in the late 1800 to early 1900s. In fact, we learned that murals of Muckross house and grounds are painted in Filoli Gardens. By the way, Muckross in Irish means pig peninsula.

Shawn arrived on the 24! We had a low key day since neither of us slept due to travels the previous night.

On Sunday (Mal's Birthday!) we went to Bantry to do some walking/hiking.
