    ... much less crowded Honolulu. No Americans though. Just lots of Scandinavians. A modern tourist getaway. Glad it's off season. Might look like a Vegas crowd otherwise.     ... fjords. Monte Carlo with a party flavour. I have attached several photographs which show this amazing place, which is truly not Turkish. Bars and nightclubs everywhere, alcohol on open display, only one mosque that I could see. To add to the beauty of the town, we were the only ship in port, hence it was not swarming with people.     ... the afternoon during siesta. My "refrigerator" and I were in the utmost of comfort, at anchor or harbor, when the temperatures reached over 40-45 degrees centigrade. (105-112 degrees F). Much too hot!! Although the all time hot was a couple of years ago, with the Campbells, here at Yacht Marina when it was 116 degrees F.     ... amazed me, with its dramatic, sometimes rugged earth, plunging into the sea. Well, what do you know about that? I spy an early morning slalom skier............ ahhhhhh... the memories of starting my day skiing!! :-).
