    Maine it is. Lots of Moose Xing signs, but so far the only moose we see hangs on the front of our truck, a little brass one. the folks in our CG said they saw one (real) recently while hunting for partridges, so we will be vigilant.     wow! moose, loons, mountains and lots of water. we are about 20miles south of greenville,maine which is where the tip of moosehead lake is located. it is the largest lake in maine, 40miles long and 12miles wide. it is undeveloped for the most part. some restaurants and stuff in greenville on the tip of the lake and some houses but mostly undeveloped shoreline and mountains. greenville the biggest town around has ...

    So we woke up to fog that could be cut with a knife but away we go on our moose hunt. Out in the early morning to see what we can find.Down backroads, around the boughs, no moose. I did find some more nice waterfalls, but you are probably all tired of my views of my waterfalls. Back to the Behemouth and some breakfast.
