    ... historic one to an old B-52C WWII aircraft that crashed on Elephant Mountain and the remains are still there today as a memorial. The drive up the mountain took about 30 minutes (assuming you don't get lost) and the hike was about a minute, but the plane pieces greeted you at the beginning of the trail and grew in number until you reached the memorial itself (a large engraved stone leaning against the cabin of the plane).     Maine it is. Lots of Moose Xing signs, but so far the only moose we see hangs on the front of our truck, a little brass one. the folks in our CG said they saw one (real) recently while hunting for partridges, so we will be vigilant.     ... half away, called pipper pond. phoebe had a nice swim in it.
