Left at 0700 and rode 500 feet for breakfast because the sky looked like it was going to open up.
Did the Tunnel of Trees, then stopped for custard at Bop-In in Bay View, Michigan.
Stopped for lunch in at a bowling alley/restaurant called Tucker's in a cute little town called Northport, Michigan.
We rode by the lake almost all day today. Just really gorgeous scenery.

After a scary first drive out of Chicago we arrived in the evening at electric forest music festival. Strangely the set up is that everyone camps next to there cars and we were fortunate enough to neighbour some hospitable texans whose set up was class. They really showed us what 'glamping' was about- they had tent fans, picnic tables, fish and shrimp dinners, cooked breakfasts and bafflingly they never had warm beer. Camping next to them ...
... to explore and geocache. We arrived to Ludington, MI and camped at Poncho's Pond, #225, a very nice site for the RV and tent. More food needed for the two bottomless pits, prompted a trip for groceries.
