We had pretty good weather most of the time, the next day we managed a trip around the local area where we drove up Dyer's pass to emerge at the aqua coloured inlet of Lyttleton Harbour. Penguins, Boulders and an Earthquake
We only had 2 days left in New Zealand after the Fiordlands and we just had a long-ish drive north to Christchurch for the flight to Australia. The 1st place we called in was Dunedin, because I had seen some photos of the place that looked very impressive.
