... we neared Cambria, we spotted a beach below the road which had seals on it. Not just one or two, but hundreds. All lined up like sunbathers on a Spanish beach in the summer, but without the parasols.

... because actually owning a car like this is completely impractical for my lifestyle, so it's awesome to be able to rent it for this trip! Plus it just make me happy every time I look at it, the cuteness and funny looking factor get me every time. I think it also reminds me of this guy which makes it even better :) I've decided to name him George, or Giorgio if we want to be all Italian about it since it's an Italian car. I still like George better.
... guy coming in who is a consultant on the road. Has been traveling for quite some time, works from his camper and loves it. Encouragement!! Amazing how many people I am meeting that are leading that type of life.

... and we made it to the entrance for 9.30am which is the time the aquarium opened. We were told to allow 3 hours to visit. It was huge- we were greeted by one of the aquarium staff holding a tube of water filled with tiny baby moon jellyfish. Simply amazing. We headed upstairs to the giant tanks which housed various tuna, shark etc.Each exhibit was better than the next, and then we went to the Jellyfish exhibit - every type and shape was here and they were so beautiful. The grounds include an amazing pool and Roman bath area and many gorgeous fountains and gardens. There are numerous tours you can do and we only did the basic one, if we'd had more time we would have done more and I highly recommend going and doing at least two of the tours while you're there, it's an amazing place.
