... fighting and generally having a jolly god time. For all I know it could have been a harem! I leave them basking in the late afternoon sunshine as we make the final stretch of our journey south to San Luis Obispo.
As beautiful and as wild as this (well travelled) bit of coastline is, I have to say that my heart was won with the coastline north of San Francisco. Somehow life there seemed more remote, more real, more rugged and the Pacific roared more. ...
