    What a sight!

There are reckoned to be bout 18000 in all, but there were only about half that number there at this time of year. On every beach we passed, there they were. flat out, fast asleep. row upon row of them. Every now and then a ...

... and we made it to the entrance for 9.30am which is the time the aquarium opened. We were told to allow 3 hours to visit. It was huge- we were greeted by one of the aquarium staff holding a tube of water filled with tiny baby moon jellyfish. Simply amazing. We headed upstairs to the giant tanks which housed various tuna, shark etc. Each exhibit was better than the next, and then we went to the Jellyfish exhibit - every type and shape was here and they were so beautiful. ... to name a few.

The grounds include an amazing pool and Roman bath area and many gorgeous fountains and gardens. There are numerous tours you can do and we only did the basic one, if we'd had more time we would have done more and I highly recommend going and doing at least two of the tours while you're there, it's an amazing place.

After the tour we continued along the coast road and back up to San Francisco. The ...
