        ... in Vancouver. I was able to get in on the first round of seating and sit at the bar. I had a waffle with milk chocolate lavender topping and saumon fume, which is: 1 fried egg, smoked wild salmon cream cheese, avocado, arugula and artichoke salad on a grilled ciabatta. Very good, but not sure I would wait an hour for it.

        ... of Stanley park where we headed towards the miniature train ride. Harrison was so excited we sat right at the front so he could speak to the train driver. The ride was fun and afterwards we had a quick play in the park followed by lunch. After lunch we took our bikes around Stanley park and stopped off at the totem poles which were hugely impressive.         Steve - tricky decision to make....enjoy a break and the hospitality of the family or take off for the long trail we still had to complete to see the Canadian Rockies.

        first option won so off into town t find a launderette. this was a disaster so bought some powder and used the families machine while we headed out for a sightseeing tour.

        ... shin indicated to me it was time to take our leave...

        One thing about Princess Cruises, they never leave you at a loose end.. always an activity of entertainment to occupy you..

        There had been Naturalists, a female Iditerod winning musher ( who loved cats..) and park rangers from the various park areas we entered both on shore and in the ship... all very informative.. We did not bother with the cabaret and comedians...
